Saskatchewan Roughriders Sign Ryan Meskell

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed Australian placekicker Ryan Meskell, according to an official post issued on their social media page.

Meskell, a six-foot, 185-pound native of Gold Coast, Australia, played his college ball at the University of Hawaii where he completed 26 field goal tries out of 39 and earned a spot for himself on the Lou Groza Award Watch List in 2019.

Meskell, 29, played one game with the Edmonton Elks in 2022 but was waived in 2023 following the end of rookie minicamp.
